Hey Ya'll I'm back. How's everyone's Monday going? Mine is going good for the most part. It is gorgeous outside today and so sunny. I was outside for lunch and let me tell you that I so did not want to come back to work.
Since it is Monday and the weekend was just here let me do my little weekend recap.
On Friday I went for a walk with my friend S after work. We walked all around a local state park and it was so much fun. The weather was just perfect for hiking/walking. After my walk, I went the the boyfreind to eat at a newer resturarunt. Our food was so delicious and oh so yummy! We then decided to hit up some hot spots with his friend and me and we had a good old time just talking and laughing.
Saturday I cleaned for a little and then went shopping for a bit. I picked up a really cute dress that was only $5.00 dollars and got my cousin's soon to be daughter some really cute baby clothes. Oh how I love baby shopping especially for little girls. Little girls dresses, purses, socks, shoes, etc are so adorable. Not to say that little boys aren't but girls are just so darn cute! After shopping I quickly got dressed and went over to the boyfriend's house. We had tickets to see the Sauce Boss. Basically it's a guy who sings and makes gumbo while he is singing. He also gives out gumbo to the homeless when he isn't working which is pretty awesome. It was pretty cool and we had a lot of fun dancing. It was also a plus that I got to wear my new $5.00 dollar dress and got to sip on Strawberry Daiquiris all night long! Oh so yummy!
Sunday I spring cleaned for hours on end and then got ready to go to my cousin's baby shower. She is having a little girl this time (hence why I got little girl's dresses). It was a lot of fun. The entire house was decorated in pink and the food was soooo good. I serioulsy couldn't stop myself from eating. Serioulsy cucumber finger sandwiches are the bomb and so are mini turkey and cheese sandwiches. (Yes I said the bomb. I knoiw that is like so 90's but that's just how I roll). I really needed to stop because that won't be good for my Weight Watchers meeting on Tuesday night. LOL. After the baby shower I got ready to go walking with my walking team from Weight Watchers. We walked for a mile and a half and then after I got home I decided to run for the first time since I hurt my ankle. I ran only about a half of a mile but it was really good for me to do and seemed like a great end to my day. If only the boyfriend could have seen me go, he would have been so proud. The boyfriend left Sunday to go Turkey hunting for a few days with his dad.
Today I'm back to the daily grind of work. This week I work close to 57 hours. I work close to 40 hours at my full time job and then on Saturday I work 12-16 hours for my part time job. Pray that I make it and don't quit before I even start. I so want to quit. I really don't want to be working this much and especially working that long of hours on Saturday. Plus this Saturday Jon and Kate (Plus 8) will be here locally visiting with folks in the area. (yes they already live extremely close to me but I serioulsy want to meet them) Since I'm working :( I won't be able to see them. BOOOOOO!
And before I leave you all, I want to share a story with you:
Hope you enjoyed my story of seeing a famous person. LOL. It's rare that you would see rock stars in PA (well I see one every so often, the boyfriend has a friend who is kinda/moving up famous) so I'm a little stoked.

I know that I haven't been exactly good at writing recently but it's not because I don't like you all or anything I'm just busy once again.
I don't feel like writing a super-de-dooper long post today so everything is a recap of the past few days. I hope you don't mind but my mind can't even begin to write about everything I have been doing.
So without further aido here's the RECAP:
- We didn't go to a Irish Pub on St. Patrick's Day. Instead we went downtown into the city where you could drink for FREE for 3 hours after you paid a cover fee. That cover fee covered 4 bars, 1 green plastic cup that you drank out of, a t-shirt,beads,and a green plastic hat. We had a lot of fun and I def. got my french fries and some good drinks. :) Oh and since it was free drinks we couldn't get specialtiy drinks so therefore I didn't get my Thin Mint Drink. :( BOO!
- The boyfriend and I went to BINGO up the street from my apartment 2 weeks ago and I won $25.00 dollars! It was a really fun time plus they give you a free meal when you play. I went last week with my Stepmom and didn't win but it was still fun. I'm thinking this will have to be atleast a bi-weekly thing!
- The boyfriend left last Wed. up to his cabin so I was alone by myself for 5 days. I got a lot done and got to hang out with some people that I normally don't get to see.
- Saturday I went to NYC and saw Mamma Mia on Broadway with the boyfriend's family. Well at least all the girls in the family. It was so much fun and I felt like home going back to NYC. I just love it there. *I'll post some pics from the trip soon*
- Sunday the boyfriend got home and I was so excited to see him. :)
- Yesterday after work the boyfriend met me at my mom's house and we took her dog Izzie and his dog Pozy to a local park and we walked around for about 2 hours. It was a lot of fun and the dogs def. enjoyed it. It was so nice just to spend some alone time with the boyfriend and it was relaxing! After we dropped off Izzie we went back to the boyfriend's house and lifted weights, did our abs and hung out for a bit.
- Today is just another typical tuesday. Tonight is Weight Watchers like usual, going for a walk with my group after the meeting, and possibly seeing the boyfriend. Also food is a must since I don't eat for like 5 hours before my weigh-in. *I seriously better lose some weight tonight b/c I have been extremely good and have worked out like a mad women. If I go up tonight the weight watchers crew better watch out.*

Hey all you lovely readers! I'm so sorry I haven't been able to post in a while. I have been so busy!! I know you always here that and I'm trying to do better but really I have been busy.
So where to start? Hmm? Well Valentine's Day was simply fabulous. We went to a Hockey game (it was my first professional sports game) with the boyfriend and we had an excellent time there. I really got into the game and was screaming and cheering and overall it was a blast. It also helped that the team won!! Yippie! So after we got home from the game we went back and got changed so we could go to dinner later that night. We went to a really nice restaurant and the food was really really good. They had specials for valentine's day and the boyfriend and I had wonderful conversation and had just simply the best time. He made me feel like a princess! :)
Move over to Sunday the day after and we did our normal routine. Went to church, came back to his house, changed, ate brunch, lifted weights, ab workout, then take the dog somewhere to go outside. (I sound like a fitness freak don't I?) We decided to go to a local state park. We walked around for a bit and then decided to run about a mile. I felt like dying since I hadn't ran in about a month. It was good however and I felt so much better afterwards. After that we decided to go on a hike before heading back to the car. We were hiking and almost to the end of the trail when I slipped in the mud(it was extremely muddy since the snow had melted) and tripped on a rock and went down. I was in severe pain and instantly starting crying. The boyfriend came over and tried to calm me down but I was in such pain that I couldn't stop. He carried me down the rest of the mountain (what a prince charming) me sobbing the whole way down and got me in the car. I went back to his house where his parents said that I needed to go to the hospital. So the boyfriend and me went to the hospital where they did x-rays and whatnot and learned that I sprained my ankle badly. I was put in crutches and an air cast and told to stay off of it for the next 3 days. Move over to today and I'm still in some pain and it's still swollen so I have to go call the doctor and get it checked out. Pray that I just need to rest it more!
I have been going through a variety of difficult things in the month of February. I'm not going to go into all the details of everything but please pray for my family and for me to be able to deal with everything going on. To give you some insight into what has happened here is a recap of some things:
- The boyfriend turned 25 on the 17th (this is not bad however I just wanted to share!)
- Ankle Injury
- Mother found out she has two tiny brain aneurysms. Both are 2 mm's each so they don't operate they just monitor.
- Brother has been in a group therapy home and has been acting up for the last 2 months. The 26th was his birthday. After we left him he got into trouble and was arrested for riding in a stolen vehicle. Side note: My brother has bipolar disorder along with other mental health issues. He has been in group homes since he was 13 and is now 19. He doesn't have the mind of a 19 yr old but the mind of a 10 yr old. His hearing is soon and hopefully he learns his lesson.
- The boyfriend has been trying to get out of his sales job forever now and keeps looking but nothing is coming up. We would love to move but right now the opportunity isn't there. We keep praying and I keep praying that soon he will find a job he loves. He tries out Saturday to be a cop in a local township.
- The stress of everything has been overwhelming and at times I have been very snappy and rude to the ones I love especially the boyfriend. He is doing an amazing job listening to me and helping me out with everything. We are going strong however I need to be more patient and understanding knowing that he isn't the "bad guy".

So I couldn't get my car on Tuesday like I had hoped. The salesman called and said that the mechanic had called off sick and hadn't finished putting in a part for me. So I was supposed to pick up the car tonight and well it snowed like crazy so I couldn't go and pick up the car also the salesman called and the mechanic was off sick again today. So I am a little frustrated to say the least but I'm hoping that I can pick up the new car tomorrow. I can't wait to take the new bug on the road and take the boyfriend around town!!
In other news, I am feeling like crap physically. I have a sore throat, sometimes an ear ache and my voice is very scratchy. I'm so tired because I haven't sleep good since I can't breath with my throat feeling like it is closing up. AHH...I hope that I start feeling better.
Lately I feel like I haven't worked out much. Besides hiking in the snow and sledding this past weekend my workouts have almost come to a complete halt. I feel completely gross and feel so frustrated. I'm working really hard this week to watch what I eat and to track it all and to not overeat. So far its working better than I thought and its going pretty good. Since it's sleeting out and there is snow on the ground I couldn't run outside or do anything so I decided to do my workout in the apartment. I did my weightlifting with the weights my thoughtful bf got me for Christmas, ab workout, leg stretches, toned, and danced/jogged around the room for about 10 minutes until I realized that I might have taken it a little too far. I'm pretty proud of myself for trying to get back into the swing of things and hopefully I can keep it up. I have the last 20 lbs to lose by April I hope because I want to fit into a bikini for the summer. Hopefully everything will work out and I can keep up the routine.

The boyfriend and I went on a weekend getaway this past weekend. His family owns a hunting cabin and we decided to go up there and spend the weekend.
I didn't know what to expect at first seeing as how the boyfriend kinda scared me by his use of terms (i.e. cold, extremely cold, lots and lots of snow, outhouse) those were just to name a few. I had never been to the cabin so I wasn't sure and he wasn't helping by scaring me with those kinds of words. I mean Outhouse is going to kinda scare any girl.
Surprisingly the weekend was fabulous and oh so fun! The cabin was pretty awesome and had lots of room and the outhouse was actually not to bad. Okay it was not fun going in -2 degree temperature but still it wasn't horrible.
We left on Friday and starting driving and we stopped at the boyfriend's college town to visit his friends and we had a drink with them and caught up with them and then drove some more and finally made it to the cabin at 1 AM!! First off let me say this cabin is in the middle of nowhere and there is no light so it was so crazy dark and was extremely cold. There was about a foot or so of snow and it was crazy. We gathered all of our suitcases and such in and loaded into the cabin in freezing temperatures and got the heat on and the electricity on. We finally went to sleep at 3 AM and woke up the next day and went up a HUGE and I mean HUGE mountain (it took about 45 mins just to get up the mountain) and went sledding. It was so completely fun!! We went up the mountain about 4 times during the weekend to go sledding and I had a blast. We both felt like such kids but it was such a good stress reliever and I haven't had that much fun in god knows how long. I burned a lot of calories this past weekend was such a good thing seeing as how I have not really cared what I have eaten in about 2 weeks.
I'm not going to bore you with all the details of the trip but lets just say it was such a fabulous great relaxing time alone with the boyfriend and I. It was so nice just to be with him and only him no other distractions just him and I having fun. I fell deeper in love with him and feel like we share a stronger bond.
Can't wait to go back in the spring so we can actually hike in warm weather!!
